Global Technology Software Engineer Role Overview

This is a 6-month industrial placement opportunity for individuals to work on state-of-the-art technology applications.

Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise, gathering client requirements, coding solutions and contributing to delivery/release events.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree with completion expected between September 2026 and July 2027.
  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification is required.
  • The candidate must have a placement programme built into their academic curriculum and be available to join the programme between January and March 2026 for 6 months.

Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment commencing in July 2027 or other start dates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential skills include self-learning outside of studies, clear motivation for exploring a technology career within financial services, innovative thinking and problem-solving, effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong teamwork and leadership, and fluency in written and spoken English.

Desired skills include knowledge of React, Angular, .NET, Python or Java, object-oriented or relational database management systems, and experience of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment software delivery processes.
