Early Years Educator Job Opportunity

Our Early Years educator position involves working in a baby room with children from babies to toddlers, preschool and school age. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about childcare and education.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks such as nappy changing, toileting, sterilizing, feeding, nap supervision and engaging in play.
  • Collect children from school and assist with homework.
  • Conduct observations of children under the direction of the room leader.
  • Follow policies and procedures at all times.
  • Clean and store equipment and toys after use.
  • Maintain room and equipment for health and safety.
  • Organize materials and toys for benefit of children.
  • Support child development emotionally, socially, physically and cognitively.
Person Specifications:
  • Minimum QQI Level 6 in Childcare.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience with different ages of children.
  • Skills: Childcare qualification, Early years education, Preschool knowledge.
