Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Asset Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hardware management function, you will play a critical role in overseeing the lifecycle of all hardware assets, from procurement to disposal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, implementing policies and procedures, and conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, communication, and people skills.

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware assets, from procurement to retirement.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all hardware assets within the organization.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the IT asset management tooling, ensuring data continuity and accuracy.
  • Implement, maintain, and continually improve policies, standards, processes and procedures for hardware asset management.
  • Operate within governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews of policies to ensure they remain effective and up to date.
  • Utilise best practices to optimize the hardware asset management lifecycle.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to negotiate and manage contracts with hardware vendors.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on hardware matters.
  • Generation of regular reports on hardware asset lifecycle status, cost savings.
  • Define and provide KPI/Metric information and standardised reporting on a scheduled basis.
  • Responsible for end-to-end hardware procurement lifecycle including raising purchase orders, goods receipting and invoicing.
  • Managing and maintaining hardware stock levels, across all regions, to ensure that levels are sufficient and stock records are accurately recorded.
