Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their finance function.

This senior leadership role will lead a finance team and focus on driving profitability through actionable insights, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially-minded finance professional looking to progress their career.

  • Partnering with operational leadership to maximise efficiency across core business areas.
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts for margin, cost, and cash flow.
  • Conducting scenario analysis to identify business improvement opportunities.
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, identifying issues and implementing solutions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of general accounting activities.
  • Maintaining high supplier invoice matching rates.
  • Driving process improvements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of work from the Shared Services Centre.
  • Overseeing cash and working capital management.
  • Managing pension accounting, taxation, payroll, and intercompany transactions.

Requirements include:

  • Qualified accountant.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Finance Manager/Senior Finance role.
  • Ready to progress to a Finance Director position within 2-3 years.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • ERP system experience.
