Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the operational finance function, encompassing reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To lead and manage core finance operations, including a high-performing team across GL, AP/AR, tax, payroll, systems administration.
  • To ensure accurate and timely financial processing and month-end/year-end close.
  • To manage and improve internal control systems to guarantee compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • To drive efficiency and automation (systems, processes, tools) for increased productivity and scalability.
  • To maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • To collaborate with FP&A, Co Sec, and Procurement teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong technical knowledge of ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA, with at least 10 years' PQE and 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
  • A proven history of managing Shared Service Centres would be an advantage.
  • Experience in systems improvements, change management, and finance transformations.
  • Excellent systems experience (ERP - Sun, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Strong leadership, people management, and mentoring skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive performance at a senior level.

This role requires an individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in managing finance teams and improving internal control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
