Job Description

This is a challenging engineering position that involves contributing to the design and delivery of site development works. As a Design Engineer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for completing designs and drawings for site development works.

You will liaise with clients, review and prepare technical documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Your responsibilities will include designing surface water drainage systems in accordance with SuDS, including greenfield runoff calculations and sizing of soakaways and attenuation tanks.

Additionally, you will be responsible for designing foul sewer and water main networks in line with Irish Water Codes of Practice, and liaising with Irish Water through pre-connection, application, and diversion processes.

Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Need to Succeed

To succeed in this role, you need a Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and 2–6 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design.

A strong understanding of drainage design principles and SuDS, Irish Water Codes of Practice for water and wastewater, and site development standards is required.
