Job Overview

We are seeking a Design Evaluation Specialist to fill this critical role at our organization. This opportunity offers a skilled professional the chance to work on evaluating new products, utilizing their knowledge of Analogue and Digital Electronics.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with various teams to determine the required tests for the evaluation of new products.

  • Developing the hardware and software evaluation capability for new products as part of the wider team.
  • Conducting pre-determined testing on new silicon, performing post-processing and careful analysis of the results, and compiling reports for each test.
  • Identifying functional and performance limitations of silicon down to root cause.
  • Developing new measurement solutions and methodologies to advance the team's measurement capabilities.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, and possess excellent programming skills. You should also be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of accepting responsibility.

Key Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 10 years' experience in an Engineering measurement role.
  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills.
  • High coordination and leadership skills.
  • PCB design/layout experience.
  • Experience with Power testing methodologies would be valued.
