Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We're expanding our cloud capabilities and seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and manage cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, resilient, scalable and secure solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain Google Cloud core infrastructure and resources to support our business
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD DevSecOps tools
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments ensuring high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing applications and systems
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and their Google Cloud implementation including networking, storage and security
  • Experience and understanding of enterprise patterns and best practices around building out GCP for a regulated organisation
  • Proven experience with DevSecOps practices and tools such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash and Python
