
Mental Health Support Specialist

This role involves providing psychiatric nursing care to adults aged 18 to 65 with mental disorders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that prioritizes the needs of individuals and their families.
The position requires a registered psychiatric nurse on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) register, with excellent knowledge of medication management, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain health assessments, medication plans, and supporting documents in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals through various means, including face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and written correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in psychiatric nursing.
- Registration on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of medication management
