Service Advisor Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers have a seamless experience with their vehicle.

About the Job:

  • To greet customers and provide top-notch customer service from intake to release of their vehicles.
  • Determine and diagnose car issues based on customer description and vehicle condition, using technical knowledge to provide solutions.
  • Translate customer-reported problems into actionable work orders for technicians to complete.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts, maintaining efficient workflow.
  • Verify that automotive work meets company standards, upholding quality.
  • Invoice and collect payment from customers, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding services provided, utilizing conflict resolution skills.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, entering data into databases as required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Naturally build rapport, trust, and credibility with customers through active listening and conversation skills.
  • Understand customer needs and motivations by actively listening and empathizing.
  • Present products and services enthusiastically, conveying confidence and conviction.
  • Personalize customer experiences by utilizing customer data and records.
  • Link features and benefits to customer needs, offering additional work or services when applicable.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly, avoiding jargon and confusion.
  • Guide customers to suitable choices, considering their preferences and requirements.
  • Previous customer service experience is highly valued; ideally possess technical understanding or background.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential for this role.
