
Healthcare Service Coordinator

The Administrative Support Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering essential healthcare services across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage referrals and appointment bookings using internal systems, ensuring seamless coordination with other teams.
- Coordinate correspondence and maintain accurate patient records, adhering to strict data protection protocols.
- Handle telephone enquiries with professionalism and empathy, providing excellent customer service.
- Support procurement processes, including ordering medical supplies, in line with organizational standards.
- Assist with data collection and reporting for service improvement, contributing to the enhancement of healthcare delivery.
- Provide cross-cover within transitional service teams and adapt to changing service needs, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs, including English (Grades A-C), or equivalent qualifications.
- Two years' administrative experience, or NVQ Level 2 in Administration plus GCSE English and one year's admin experience, or relevant training certifications.
- Three years' experience in an administrative role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support.
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other productivity tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and prioritise workload effectively, meeting organisational objectives.
