AI Homecare Group is looking for two highly organised and dedicated Care Coordinators to join our team in Belfast.
This is a varied and rewarding role that plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of high-quality homecare services across the region.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and plan homecare services to meet client needs Arrange and issue weekly rotas for care staff Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth service delivery Set up and manage new client referrals and maintain accurate databases Monitor staffing levels and provide cover planning where needed Identify training needs and support staff development Complete service user care plans, risk assessments, and regular reviews Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals Professionally handle phone enquiries from clients, carers, and external bodies Provide cover for runs when on-call, if no other staff are available to take the shift Participate in an on-call rota outside of core hours (with enhanced pay) Rota Management: Create and manage rotas for domiciliary carers, ensuring that shifts are covered and that care services are provided as scheduled.
You will be part of the on-call rota system on a rota basis during evenings from 17.00p.m.
to 10.30p.m.
and 6.00a.m.
until 9.30a.m.
during the week: also, weekends/Bank holidays from 6.00a.m.
until 22.30pm.
any absence phoned in and on call unable to find cover then the required shift would be covered by the person on call.
Coverage Assurance: Monitor and adjust rosters as needed to ensure all shifts are covered, including arranging cover for any unexpected absences or changes.
You will ensure that all Care Worker holidays, sickness, unplanned absences from placement, and all emergency calls are documented.
Client Scheduling: Schedule assessments and coordinate the onboarding of new clients, ensuring that their care needs are effectively planned and managed You will need to understand the arrangements for ensuring all clients are safeguarded against the risk of abuse and respond appropriately to any allegations of abuse, or complaints regarding service delivery.
You will ensure that any communication with external sources such as next of kin, GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, and any other professionals involved are prioritised if they impact on the care and wellbeing of the Client, keeping the Registered Manager updated as appropriate.
