Senior Technical Lead for Advanced Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to lead our advanced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of automated manufacturing, robotics, thermal coatings, and process improvement.

  • This role involves developing best practices in product/process performance within the medical devices industry.
  • The ideal candidate will establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence.
  • A significant part of this role is driving high levels of employee engagement through effective support structures for engineers.
  • The successful candidate will develop solutions to complex problems, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • This position also involves leading design, development, testing, and refinement of systems, subsystems, and components.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 8 Honours Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • At least 6 years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • An advanced degree is desired (Masters or PHD).
  • Experience in thermal spray coatings or related deposition technologies or materials science is essential.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills are required.
  • The ability to lead multi-disciplined teams in fast-paced environments is crucial.
