As a senior engineer in manufacturing, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical and engineering support to a project or function. This role requires the application of prioritized approach in value centered engineering toward achieving key opportunities in quality, service, and cost.
You will work closely with engineering leaders to deliver business objectives, assist in the development of a world-class manufacturing group proficient in process improvement and problem solving using six-sigma tools, and provide technical leadership on product and process issues.
Additionally, you will monitor line performance, execute structured event plans to remediate systemic issues, develop and implement SOPs and process work instructions compliant with GMP, lead technical improvements under the continuous improvement program (CIP), transfer and implement processes from development or other facilities, and provide technical guidance to process/maintenance technicians and engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Proven project management skills.
- 2-4 years' experience in manufacturing.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Technical leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
