We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Cork, Ireland.
About the Role
- The ideal candidate will support process development and cost reduction activities within business units.
- They must foster a work environment of continuous improvement that supports quality and regulatory requirements.
- Owning plant metrics from an engineering perspective is also crucial.
- Providing technical and operational support to manufacturing operations is vital.
- Leveraging structured problem-solving methodologies is essential.
- Implementing lean manufacture within manufacturing is also required.
Your Skills
- You have a Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- You have 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Desirable skills include CNC machining, Process Validation, Coating or Clean and Pack.
- You are a confident decision maker with proven leadership ability to negotiate and influence others.
- You possess strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- You can work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- You have proven Project Management skills through delivery of cost-saving/process improvement projects.
- You have demonstrable analytical & problem-solving skills resulting in tangible results to the business.
