Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Role
This advanced role involves providing technical leadership and engineering support to a project or function, prioritizing Value Centered Engineering approaches to achieve key opportunities in quality, service, and cost.
The ideal candidate will have required engineering competencies and systems training to support manufacturing areas or projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering leaders to deliver business objectives
- Assist in developing a world-class manufacturing group proficient in process improvement and problem-solving using Six-Sigma tools
- Provide technical leadership on product and process issues
- Monitor line performance and compile event plans to address systemic issues driving sub-optimal performance
- Develop and implement supporting documentation, SOPs, and process work instructions compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Lead technical improvements under the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP)
- Transfer and implement processes from development or other facilities
- Provide technical guidance for Process/maintenance Technicians and Manufacturing/equipment Engineers
- Support new Product and process introduction, ensuring activities are completed and documented according to Stryker's New product Development Process
- Validate products and processes; VP, IQ, OQ, PQ, and associated documentation
- Maintain Quality Management Systems requirements at all times
