Job Title: Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Projects

The role of Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Projects involves technical leadership across multiple Engineering competencies, including Lean six sigma, manufacturing and automation. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert guidance and support to ensure high-quality process and product delivery.

  • Manage significant Engineering projects through Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Ensure quality of process and product as defined in appropriate Operating Systems and Material specifications
  • Own the First Pass Yield (FPY) and Material Review Board (MRB) process
  • Continuously improve performance of the process
  • Optimise current floor space

You will also provide support to Process Development/Advanced Operations on technology development and application within the manufacturing process, engage in lean manufacture implementation, and support process development and cost reduction activities within the business units. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplined team.

Requirements:
  • Level 8 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Desirable Skills:
  • Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business critical projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
