Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centered care and support to residents, prioritizing their choices and needs
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that address individual goals and aspirations
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to document and report accurately and professionally
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
