Supply Chain Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This is a 6-month contract with potential opportunities for a permanent position.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing procurement activities, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting plant operations.

  • Sourcing competitive quotes and negotiating pricing
  • Recommending vendor selection based on reliability, cost, and quality
  • Executing purchasing strategies in alignment with the Supply Chain Manager
  • Managing non-stock purchases and freight shipments
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and securing optimal pricing
  • Purchasing materials in line with inventory targets and BOM accuracy
  • Tracking order status, expediting deliveries, and resolving supply issues
  • Implementing and managing cycle counting processes
  • Assisting in maintaining optimal inventory levels and stock availability
  • Handling order confirmations, dispatch notes, credit notes, invoices, and shipping documentation
  • Resolving issues related to damaged goods, returns, and invoice discrepancies
  • Maintaining strong communication with suppliers and internal departments
  • Ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
  • Monitoring and reporting on purchasing KPIs
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Business or related field (equivalent experience also considered)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing, customer service, or inventory management
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
