Part Qualified Accountant - Dublin

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part Qualified Accountant to join our audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to enhance their experience in a dynamic firm that values career development and progression.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be working with a diverse range of clients, reporting directly to the Audit Managers/Partners. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Audit Managers and Partners in planning and executing audits.
  • Attend meetings with clients and Partners to discuss audit plans and provide guidance on technical accounting matters.
  • Assist Audit Managers and Partners in resolving queries and providing support to clients on audit-related matters.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and audit files.
  • Delegate tasks to junior team members and provide on-the-job training support.
  • Take responsibility for planning assurance assignments and actively contribute to business development initiatives.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to cultivate and maintain client relationships, participate in business development activities, and contribute to tender submissions when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Essential accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA)
  • At least 3 years of experience in local practice, preferably in an audit environment
  • Strong knowledge of Irish standards and frameworks, as well as proficiency in International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a client portfolio and providing excellent client service
  • Familiarity with Caseware Accounts Production is advantageous but not mandatory
