We are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to join our Commercial Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who wants to take ownership of a commercial book of business and contribute to the growth of a high-performing team.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical insurance knowledge, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of business clients across commercial combined, motor trade, fleet, liability, and package policies.
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client servicing duties with a customer-first approach.
- Develop and retain strong client relationships, delivering high levels of service and responsiveness.
- Support team objectives and contribute to the overall growth and development of the Commercial division.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to support cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial insurance role.
- Proven track record in customer service and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- APA or CIP qualification (or working towards) desirable.
- Experience working with Open GI is advantageous but not essential.
