Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic Project Team.

  • Liaising with multiple Merchant facing teams across geographical locations to gather information and track status.
  • Taking ownership of projects, tracking progress using project plans and escalating where required.
  • Leading and attending conference calls with internal teams and Merchants to communicate progress and highlight issues.
  • Coordinating client implementations throughout the project lifecycle, diagnosing problems and coordinating resolutions.
  • Developing advanced skills in technical payment processing solutions and configurations.
  • Providing follow-up support to the Field Team for newly established accounts to ensure correct setup and activation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Vice President of Merchant Implementations Europe and contribute to building trusted partnerships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Merchant facing teams: Gather information and track status across geographical locations.
  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of projects, track progress and escalate where required.
  • Conference Calls: Lead and attend conference calls with internal teams and Merchants.
  • Client Implementations: Coordinate implementations, diagnose problems and coordinate resolutions.
  • Payment Processing: Develop advanced skills in technical payment processing solutions and configurations.
  • Field Support: Provide follow-up support to the Field Team for newly established accounts.

Requirements:

  • A qualification in Business administration, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in the merchant implementation area.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven knowledge of cards, payments, fintech or global eCommerce industries.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Highly service-oriented with previous client facing experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and drives through to resolution.
  • High level of experience with computer software systems, including MS suite of products.
