Electrical Engineer Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team.

We are seeking an individual with expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in the design and implementation of control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems.

  • Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Creating drawings, wiring schematics, lists, and data sheets using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
  • Designing electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems.
  • Overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
  • Collaborating with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation.
  • Undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Commissioning activities in the field.
  • Mentoring Graduate & Junior Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 Degree in Electrical, Energy Engineering, or equivalent, and at least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering. Experience with Peaking, CCGT, CHP Plants or Embedded Renewables would be highly desirable but not essential as we will provide full training.

Skills Required:

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing electrical control systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and EPLAN software.
