Clerical Officer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic public sector environment.

As a detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors and managing front desk enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reception Duties (3 Days per Week):
    • Welcoming visitors and managing front desk enquiries.
    • Answering and directing telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Booking meeting rooms and coordinating visitor appointments.
    • Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area.
  • Corporate Admin Support (2 Days per Week):
    • Assisting with general office administration tasks.
    • Preparing, formatting, and distributing documents and reports.
    • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
    • Supporting data entry and database management.
    • Assisting with meeting preparation and minute taking, as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years clerical or administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
