Nurse Leader Opportunity for Older Persons Care

As a seasoned Clinical Nurse Manager, you will lead our nursing home in Carlow with exceptional support and guidance.
Responsibilities:- Conduct internal audits to ensure quality care and implement necessary improvements.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for staff.
- Encourage innovative practice and excellence within the home.
- Adhere to Company standards, procedures, and guidelines while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain effective communication with clinical staff and foster relationships with external agencies.
- Liaise with colleagues to increase the home's visibility and reputation in the local area.
- Implement Health and Safety policies to safeguard the safety and welfare of staff, residents, and others.
- Establish regular fire training and evacuation plans to mitigate risks.
- Ensure the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained within the home.
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance programs to prevent issues.
- Participate in recruitment and interviewing processes to identify top talent.
- Conduct regular training needs analysis to address skill gaps.
- A qualified nurse with at least 3 years of management experience in care for older persons.
- A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
- Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Sound decision-making ability and a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively and promote a positive team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the organization.
