Regulatory Risk Professional Role

This position is part of an Enterprise Internal Ratings Based (IRB) Programme within the Risk Function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of IRB regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support in offering guidance to colleagues on regulatory matters.
  • Gain understanding of internal IRB control environment to offer guidance on controls required to mitigate regulatory risks.
  • Attend various forums to contribute to regulatory discussions.
  • Ensure decision points are adequately evidenced.
  • Coordinate Regulatory Workstream approaches with other workstreams.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience interpreting prudential regulatory requirements or knowledge of the credit risk control environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and decision-making skills for collaboration with senior leaders.
  • A motivated individual capable of bringing colleagues together to achieve solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
