International Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled International Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international tax law, including corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and tax compliance for professional services environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support annual audits and preparation of tax provisions with the Finance department
  • Lead and manage direct tax compliance for the organization
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns and compliance documentation
  • Engage with authorities on direct tax inquiries and audits
  • Identify opportunities for development and implementation of new technology and automated processes to increase efficiency of tax reporting and compliance
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on direct tax compliance matters
Transfer Pricing Expertise:
  • Monitor and support compliance with transfer pricing arrangements
  • Ensure transfer pricing files are complete and up-to-date
  • Lead global transfer pricing compliance and policy review, including documentation, notifications, and filings
  • Assist with transfer pricing inquiries and/or tax audits as they arise
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in international tax law, including corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and tax compliance for professional services environments
  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent tax/accountancy qualification, with a strong academic background
  • Proven ability to provide high-level tax planning and advisory services to senior stakeholders
  • Current understanding of relevant tax legislation, tax authority practices, and regulatory requirements affecting professional services firms
  • Ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly to both legal professionals and non-specialists
