Health Care Assistant Role Summary

Our organization is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill Health Care Assistant positions in our Community Care division. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and routines of service users.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with service users in daily activities and routines
  • Provide direct support to service users, including administration work and daily household tasks
  • Collaborate as part of a dynamic team providing high-quality care to individuals with complex needs

Shifts may include overnight duties and some flexibility may be required regarding hours of work.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Relevant QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualifications or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a similar environment supporting adults or children with intellectual and physical disabilities
  • Knowledge of working with adults/children with complex needs
  • Full manual driver's license is mandatory, with eligibility to drive in Ireland

Eligibility to live and work in Ireland is also required.
