Senior Rail Systems Manager

The Transportation Engineering Lead will oversee rail systems and direct multi-disciplinary projects in Ireland and globally. This key member of our team will be responsible for providing technical oversight, leading projects, managing teams, and collaborating with public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead complex rail engineering projects through all stages of design and delivery.
- Provide technical direction across rail systems including track, signalling, electrification, and civil works.
- Manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing mentorship and career development.
- Liaise with public and private sector clients including Irish Rail, NTA, and global stakeholders.
- Support business development through bid preparation, client engagement, and proposal writing.
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Railway Engineering (or related discipline).
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in rail engineering, including 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven track record delivering major rail infrastructure projects (preferably in Europe or the UK).
- Strong understanding of railway systems design, construction, and operational integration.
