Specialist Anaesthesiology Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist/Anaesthesiologist to provide expert anaesthetic care for elective and emergency surgeries, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and anaesthesia technicians in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments to optimise patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Engage in professional development, research, and teaching opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
  • Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) and completion of Specialist Training in Anaesthesiology.
  • At least 5 years of post-registration experience in Anaesthesiology, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care and a willingness to adapt to changing clinical environments.
