Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking experienced and skilled individuals to fill various Healthcare Support roles. These positions involve providing exceptional cleaning services in hospital and nursing home environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sanitation and infection control procedures, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, refuse disposal, and changing beds
  • Collect dirty laundry from patient rooms and deliver it to washing areas
  • Distribute clean linen to designated floors
  • Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies
  • Ensure a clean and organized storage area for equipment and supplies
  • Address any patient complaints regarding housekeeping services
  • Empty trash receptacles and compact surgical waste according to hospital procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a related field
  • Manual Handling, Infection Control, and Chemical Safety training is an asset
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
