Job Opportunity: Project Director (M&E)

Project Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our project in Galway, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of this project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend project start-up meetings and manage all Mechanical and Electrical aspects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Familiarise yourself with all project details and specifications.
  • Collate technical submittals, ensuring issuance and approval follow-through.
  • Manage labour tracking and maintain weekly Progress Reports, addressing any changes or variations.
  • Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
  • Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
  • Ensure the availability of adequate materials to complete the project.
  • Implement construction and commissioning programmes and plans on site.
  • Manage K&M handover process and maintain the K&M Document Management System.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and attend site meetings to address points raised.

Requirements:
  • Extensive project management experience within the M&E industry.
  • Successful track record of delivering large-scale M&E projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing large teams including PMs, Site Managers, and Foremen.
  • Qualification in Construction/Project Management is preferred.
