Electrical Project Leadership Position

Hiring for a seasoned electrical project leader to be based out of the Athlone region on a permanent, full-time basis. This role oversees multiple projects across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Report directly to the Operations Director and manage the financial and operational aspects of multiple projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality installations, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate planning, programming, and reporting activities throughout all project phases.
- Attend and contribute to meetings with clients and design teams; foster strong relationships with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, approve mechanical installations, and ensure commissioning and testing meet quality requirements.
- Support business development efforts through tender review, contract negotiation, and valuation reporting.
- Maintain QA processes and ensure systems and processes align with best practices and client requirements.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (with an electrical focus) is required.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a project leadership role, delivering large-scale technical projects.
- Experience working with a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor in Ireland or the UK—preferably on Industrial, Data Centre, or Pharmaceutical projects—is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, and electrical building services design, is essential.
- Familiarity with systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS), backup power (UPS/generators), instrumentation, and process control wiring is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage teams on multiple small projects simultaneously.
