Technical Business Development Manager

About the Role
  • We are seeking an accomplished professional with expertise in the manufacturing or sub-contract engineering industry.
  • A strong commercial awareness and ability to develop compelling proposals will be essential in this position.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Work closely with the sales team to build and secure new projects.
  2. Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met.
  3. Project Oversight: Manage ongoing projects, ensuring seamless handovers to the operations team and alignment with business objectives.

This role requires excellent analytical skills to assess and interpret data, creating actionable strategies.

Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Expertise in the manufacturing or sub-contract engineering industry, with knowledge of precision CNC multi-axis turning and milling being advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to develop compelling proposals.
  • Advanced organisational and communication skills, including proficiency with preparing reports, tender documents, and presentations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in achieving targets and delivering results.
