Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the introduction and implementation of packaging automation equipment for medical devices.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale, custom packaging automation projects from request for quote (RFQ) through to performance qualification (PQ) and final handover to production.

The Automation Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful integration of packaging systems that meet regulatory, safety, and operational standards specific to the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for packaging system integration and testing.
  2. Lead systematic technical root cause investigations related to packaging automation issues.
  3. Oversee process characterization and optimization for packaging systems.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in manufacturing with high-volume automated assembly.
  • Packaging experience is preferable.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with experience presenting to cross-functional teams and customers.
