
Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Department

Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager II: Clinical Facilitator
">The clinical nurse manager will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and manage a team of nurses in the emergency department. They will be responsible for maintaining professional standards, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical practice.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Support and guide staff nurses in providing patient care, promote quality care, and support continuous lifelong learning and development.
- Act as a resource person on clinical issues, communicate effectively with staff, and assist with the development of policies and guidelines.
- Develop and implement continuing education programs to meet nurse competency needs and ensure ongoing training and evaluation.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, facilitate collaboration and innovation in practice, and maintain a supportive working environment.
- Provide expert advice, participate in managerial meetings, and adhere to the Code of Professional Practice and Behaviours for Registered Nurses.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with The Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible to register.
- At least 5 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting or relevant clinical area within the last 7 years.
- Demonstrated management experience throughout the last 2 years, with a focus on teaching, assessing, and developing skills/competencies applicable to clinical areas.
