Senior Emergency Department Nurse

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced emergency nurse to join our team in South Dublin. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care, utilizing evidence-based nursing practices and showcasing excellent communication skills. As a key member of the emergency department team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating highly specialized nursing care using a holistic approach.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care that meets the highest standards of evidence-based nursing practice
- Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating highly specialized nursing care using a holistic approach
- Observing, assessing, and recording symptoms, responses, and progress when providing direct patient care
Requirements:
- Be Registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives - maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- A minimum of 2 years' experience post qualification in an acute hospital setting
- Experience in Urgent Care or ED would be highly desirable
- Paediatric training / experience would be beneficial
