Job Opportunity

This position offers a 12-month contract with potential for extension and permanency, providing the opportunity to grow within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate work assignments and ensure foremen and operatives understand project requirements.
  • Disseminate information from drawings and specifications to relevant teams, ensuring clarity on tasks and expectations.
  • Conduct material testing as directed by supervisor/line manager in accordance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, occurrences, and work progress.
  • Provide regular updates on work progress to management, including subcontractor performance.
  • Pursue professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure workplace safety and report any incidents or non-compliance.
  • Foster strong working relationships with all personnel.
  • Monitor and check equipment accuracy.
  • Maximize efficiency through effective self-management and accurate work practices.
  • Adhere to directions and attend meetings as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A third-level qualification in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in setting out or as a site engineer.
  • Preference for experience working with main contractors, surveying firms, or similar organizations.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
