Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is pivotal in guaranteeing customer satisfaction through meticulous monitoring, control and improvement of all relevant customer processes. The Quality Assurance Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for quality metrics and enhancement initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum NFQ Level 6 Certificate/Diploma in Science or Engineering, or sufficient job-related experience. They will also exhibit a profound understanding and application of problem-solving techniques, as well as proficient utilization of MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for supporting quality process definition, set up, verification and enhancements. You will conduct in-process testing on Product, and verify the Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Line Clearance activities.

You will conduct internal process audits to ensure conformance and effectiveness of the Quality System. You will also support audits by demonstrating product testing requirements and best practices.

Additional responsibilities include identifying improvements through Quality review and meetings on Quality, Yield, flow, documentation, control etc. You will escalate Quality Issues where necessary and conduct non-conformance investigations when required.

You will perform weekly environmental monitoring sampling of the ISO Class 8 Cleanrooms, prepare and review sterile release packs, and conduct releasing of sterile product.

This role necessitates strong communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to write standard operating procedures and training documents.
