Job Description

CPL is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to manage the billing processes of accounts. The post holder will be responsible for creating and sending invoices to customers daily, following up with customers on payment and document signing, and keeping customer accounts up-to-date.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as an administrator and account receivable admin role or in a similar accounts position. They will possess strong understanding of patient confidentiality and discretion, a hands-on approach with a strong work ethic, and excellent written and verbal communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team and work on their own initiative. They will have exceptional phone manner and superior customer service skills, as well as Microsoft Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel, and knowledge of computerised accounts packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and sending invoices to customers via a secure portal daily
  • FOLLOWING UP WITH CUSTOMERS ON PAYMENT OF INVOICES & SIGNING OF DOCUMENTS
  • Keeping customer accounts up-to-date with statuses and generating monthly reports
  • Reviewing aged debt report and following up on outstanding payments
  • Weekly monitoring for refunds that are due & processing EFTs for patients
  • Dealing with customer queries daily and calling customers on the phone
  • Corresponding with customer on enquiries and invoice discrepancies
  • Post payments on customer accounts and reconciling payments each week
  • Preparing the monthly invoice for a partner clinic
  • Ensuring customers have signed fee agreements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monthly cashflow projections
