Job Title:

About the Role:

  • Provides technical leadership and ownership of critical tasks in product development.
  • Liaises with key stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of disease states, user needs; and articulates throughout the team.
  • Translates needs requirements into technical specifications.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation, generating creative solutions to address unmet needs.
  • Leads team development of test models for prototype performance evaluations, building and testing prototypes, test data analysis and interpretation, component and finished device assembly drawings/specifications, product materials selection, and process development.
  • Takes a hands-on approach where appropriate, leading critical activities by example.
  • Identifies and manages key technical risks and mitigations throughout the product lifecycle.

Program Management Responsibilities:

  • Develops detailed project goals, plans, and strategies.
  • Identifies critical project tasks, defines project priorities, and sets team objectives.
  • Identifies and manages key program risks.
  • Leverages cross-functional teams to deliver on performance, time, and cost targets.
  • Reports progress across the organization.
  • Leverages external resources to achieve project goals.
  • Manages projects in accordance with quality systems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in medical device industry with technical project leadership and catheter product development experience is required.
  • Strong technical leadership capability, responsible for leading and managing technical teams in product development.
  • Strong catheter design, development, and technical ability is essential.
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills are required.
