Top Financial Services Company is seeking a candidate with strong Payments experience to join on a 6 month contract that will be extended.

About the Role

As a Payment Processing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing investigative research and analysis regarding complex financial transactions & identification of unusual payments impacting the Company and our clients within your team.

You will input and approve of Low & High Value Funds Transfers across the Company Network, sending to Worldwide Geographic locations, utilising different systems and applications specific to these locations.

Understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Compliance & KYC (Know Your Client) regulations in multiple jurisdictions is essential. You will create efficiencies, with a strong focus on speed of process and sufficient control.

Ensure efficient team structure through effective resource management, focusing on ensuring correct skills for roles and optimum resourcing level for the team under your remit.

Maintaining strict adherence to the Company Policies and Procedures is key.

You will manage and mentor your direct reports, actively engaging with them through team and individual meetings and the staff performance process and evaluate team members in accordance with performance management programme.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education to bachelor's degree level in Business/Finance related discipline or equivalent qualification/work experience.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team of people.
  • Ability to prioritise work while under pressure, both while supporting your team and/or independently in a dynamic environment to ensure assignments are completed with established deadlines.
  • Customer focused, proven ability to provide superior customer service, as well as a record of your capacity to follow through on issues to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Good knowledge of/demonstrated interest in international clearing systems, messaging formats & Swift.
