Senior Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of our global DWDM network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy large-scale DWDM networks
  • Develop scalable network architectures to meet growing customer demands
  • Collaborate closely with multiple networking teams across the organization
  • Evaluate new optical products and lead commercial tender processes
  • Ensure network adherence to defined standards and review system changes
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and develop innovative solutions daily
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7+ years industry experience in optical networks and IP networking
  • Hands-on experience with DWDM network planning, modelling, and rollout
  • Strong expertise in IP networking fundamentals and protocols
  • Deep knowledge of major DWDM platforms such as Ciena, Infinera, and Cisco
  • Experience with Cisco and Juniper routers, including supervisory and line cards
  • Solid understanding of internet routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF
  • Familiarity with protocols and technologies including DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3, OC48), 802.2/3, VLANs/STP, IPv4/IPv6, TCP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC/VPNs, Netflow, DNS, HTTP
