Senior Home Care Professional

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Home Care Professional to lead the management and supervision of a team of dedicated Carers in their assigned area.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated to oversee and assist in providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

  • Develop and implement strategies for carer onboarding, rostering, training, and overall welfare with the support of Regional Managers and Platinum Support Offices.
  • Deliver comprehensive induction training for new Carers, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Utilize One Touch Care Management software to monitor daily activities, prioritize safeguarding and compliance, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Support Offices regarding scheduling, client care, and HSE communication using One Touch Care Management Software.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage training needs within the team by implementing a career development path aligned with Platinum Homecare's HR strategy.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and maintain accurate records in accordance with Platinum Homecare and HSE standards.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills or higher
  • 3-5 years' experience in Home Care or Community Care sectors in supervisory or management roles
  • Experience with One Touch Care Management software is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and process-driven abilities
