Job Title: Credit Risk Manager

As a seasoned professional in the financial services sector, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on a pivotal role within our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded credit risk expert to combine their technical background with a hands-on approach in shaping credit strategy and underwriting decisions.

The Opportunity:
  • Evaluate and shape funding opportunities for SMEs using a structured and commercial approach.
  • Responsible for credit assessment and underwriting of financing applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead the review process for business funding, collaborating closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and refine credit risk policies, procedures, and monitoring frameworks to drive business success.
  • Partner with institutional funders on credit-related matters, fostering strong relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Contribute to product innovation and portfolio performance, driving growth and excellence within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in financial services, preferably in audit, lending, or risk-focused roles.
  • Exposure to credit risk, underwriting, or lending is highly desirable, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and assess commercial risk.
  • Confident communication skills, comfortable engaging with internal leadership and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Curiosity and adaptability, with an interest in leveraging technology to enhance credit decision-making.
