Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

The Air and Ocean Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of air and ocean freight services. This involves communicating with customers to understand their shipping needs, coordinating collections and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with customers and service partners to ensure accurate and timely collections and deliveries.
  • Cut export documents and clear customs, following up on pre-alerts and flight details.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue and customs regulations, as well as company procedures and industry legislation.
  • Deal effectively with overseas offices on sales leads, queries, and tracing shipments.
  • Complete invoicing and send it to finance in line with instructions and processes.
  • Check supplier invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Meet or exceed customer service standards for internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years' experience as an Air/Ocean Coordinator.
  • Experience in freight/logistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and reporting skills.
  • Effective planning, organizational, and monitoring skills.
