The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices. The role requires excellent organizational and analytical skills to perform accounting tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable Invoices on SAP system for all legal entities
- Liaise with other departments on AP/Purchasing issues; drive towards resolution
- Creditor Reconciliations
- Vendor Liaison as required
- Reconcile AP/Purchasing at month end
- Update Vendor Master Record
- Participate in month end process as required
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function
- Provide backup for other colleagues where necessary
- Education to Leaving Certificate level (or similar) in a finance discipline
- A minimum of two years of responsible accounting experience
- Flexibility – willingness to help other colleagues to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good judgment and problem-solving ability & capable of understanding the impact of decision making on both the organization and its customers
