Maintenance Technician Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing maintenance, repairs, and support functions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in various trades, including electrical, lighting, grounds, galley repair, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. You will also possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as re-lamping, plumbing repairs, and restroom stall replacements.
- Assess and address system issues, perform repairs if possible, or report to contractors.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Director to ensure effective use of resources.
- Utilize project management technology to track progress and manage projects.
- Ensure premises are safe, secure, and clean at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or vocational training in a related field.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- A valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with project management technology.
- HVAC experience and knowledge of facility operations.
