Senior Process Safety Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Process Safety Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will enjoy working on projects with diverse hazard types and provide support as part of multi-discipline engineering teams or standalone process safety consulting services.
Key Responsibilities- Independently lead and plan process safety activities during various design stages of projects.
- Act as a process safety focal point for dealing directly with client representatives, equipment vendors, and multidiscipline engineering colleagues.
- Prepare, chair, and report on process hazard analysis (PHA) reviews, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, etc.
- Complete and deliver process safety deliverables such as hazardous area classification (HAC), explosion protection documents (EPDs), Seveso documentation, quantitative risk analysis (QRA) consequence modelling, and process safety calculations.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in process/chemical engineering, at least 15 years of relevant professional experience, and be a chartered engineer or working towards chartered status. They will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
