Senior IT Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of a seamless service to our users globally. This role will involve working closely with colleagues to ensure that all employees are trained and upskilled to deliver a professional IT support service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing local IT operations, ensuring that SLAs are met and that our internal users are provided with an exceptional user experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Lead or Manager with excellent leadership skills, who is looking to make an impact within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a global support strategy that meets the needs of our users.
  • Manage and develop local IT support teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistent implementation and measurement of global IT policies and standards.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly metrics on support operations and incidents, including analysis of trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation related to workplace services, health and safety, and environmental management.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in IT operations and ideally in a business services environment.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience leading and developing teams of professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of first- and second-line support operations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a highly technical development environment.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and other IT service management tools.
